Currently managing over 1GW of gas and diesel fired turbine power generation fleet with industry disruptor lifecycle power.For the previous 15 years I worked for aggreko, most recently responsible for the R&D and product strategy for Aggreko products in Canada, South, North & Central Americas as well as technical sales and business development within those regions. focused on growing the market in creating electricity from alternative fuels and hybrids (finding ways to make an engine run on everything from tar to flare gas and managing that power effectively) this has generated patents and created applications that have never existed in an increasingly challenging market. I have several years experience in the power generation sector as well as 3 years prior to that in consumer product design with Dyson, experience in the automotive field and patent rights for a medical device for measuring intraocular pressure.Largely international, I have spent 11 years based in the US, 2 years in China and the remaining 6 of my career thus far has been based in the UK, I am a licenced professional engineer in 3 countries with a masters degree from Cambridge University. I am conversant in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish as well as my native tongue of English.
