   As a control room operator at new DGS expansion(New Degassing station expansion) within Zubair oil field operating division (ZFOD) in Basra, Iraq, I hold a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Distribution control systems (DCS) vital to our oil production processes. DCS Management: Overseeing the configuration, monitoring and control of DCS systems to optimize the operation of various production units including crude oil stabilization, water treatment and utility systems.Our plant infrastructure at DGS includes;Crude oil stabilization: Management of 4 trains facilitating 1st and 2nd stage separation, along with preheater, oil heater, dehydrator,desalter, storage, export pump station and oil cooler with a capacity of 200 kBOPD. Produced water treatment: Having four trains dedicated to water treatment, storage and high pressure water injection systems powered by high pressure multi stage pumps,serving injection wells, with a capacity of 250 kBBLPD.Fire and Gas detection : Experienced in Fire and Gas Detection Systems including monitoring,alarm handling and emergency response coordination. Skilled in interpreting detector signals (UV/IR Flame detectors,smoke detector,gas detector) and ensuring timely activation of safety procedures to protect personnel, assets and plant operations.Utilities: Oversight of critical utility systems such as hot oil, nitrogen package, instrument air compressors, fuel gas system, chemical injection package, flare knock out drums and flare system. These systems including atmospheric pressure ( ATM pressure),(LP),(HP) flare systems. Ensuring operational efficiency and safety.In my role, I ensure seamless coordination across these operations, optimizing efficiency and maintaining stringent safety standards. Through strategic planning and effective team management. We uphold operational excellence while meeting production targets and regulatory requirements contributing the success of New DGS Expansion ENI Iraq.
