Walking Ambassador
Jan 2007 — Present · Greensboro, NC, US
I started off as a walk-on volunteer at the inaugural 2007 Wyndham Championship at Forest Oaks CC and was assigned to carts/gallery marshall. By the end of the week, I was asked to return in 2008 as the Cart Chairman when the tournament moved to Sedgefield CC. In 2009, I moved up to Gallery Marshall Chairman. Currently, with the success of this Championship before the FedEx Cup, we have expanded to Gallery Marshall Co-Chairs because of the scope and breadth of responsibilities for such a daunting and fulfilling task to coordinate over volunteers for an entire week of golf and charitability. We have evolved and are now Walking Ambassadors along with coordinating Gallery Marshalls who are there to take care of guests enjoying a top notch PGA golf event.
