ABOUT GENICE SLOAN

My life\'s work has been devoted in one way or another to helping people realize their dreams. I grew up a Southern girl in Middle Tennessee and graduated from Fall\'s Business College in Nashville Tennessee. My degree was in Business Administration and although it was an advantage; I\'ve always felt that my entrepreneurial spirit was what made me successful. I spent 23 years in the Mortgage Industry culminating by managing a branch of one of the largest companies in the industry in Fort Myers Florida. However, my mortgage career had taken me from Nashville to Honolulu and back to Fort Myers so there was a lot of on-the-job training. I\'ve always said that the School of Life has some of the best training. In I opened my first real estate company in Fort Myers and was the Managing Broker for 15 years along with my husband and daughter. We grew the company to thousands of satisfied homeowners and fulfilled a lot of dreams. In 2016, my daughter and I opened another small brokerage that we nurtured until 2018. At that time, we both decided on changes in our lives, and she moved to Tennessee, and I became an Associate Broker. Real Estate is still my baby, and I am now dual licensed in both Florida and Tennessee/Virginia. Mentoring new agents is something that I\'ve always loved, and I look forward to that challenge even more now.
