ABOUT GENEVIÈVE LATREILLE

Communication is about creating connections - whether connecting people to helpful information and services, connecting to each other, or connecting to the story your organization wants to share. As a communications professional, I love using my skills to make information more accessible, to make messages better speak to and reach their intended audience(s), and to use that story to engage with consumers in a meaningful way. I am passionate about supporting marginalized communities (BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, immigrants, neurodivergent folks, low-income individuals, etc.), and giving voice and visibility to those often left behind by traditional communications work. My skills include content strategy and creation, social media management, brand alignment and consistency, communications streamlining, internal documentation management, and events support. In addition to communication strategy, I excel in project management, client relations, and team leadership. I thrive in open-minded, creative environments with people who are passionate about the work they do, and where learning and curiosity are centered.
