From analyzing stock trends to leading a student-run business, my journey at Babson College has been a thrilling exploration of finance and entrepreneurship. My passion for finance and business was ignited by the dynamic environment at Babson College, where I have immersed myself in various learning opportunities. Through the Babson Market Talk Club and Babson Finance Association, I have gained invaluable insights into financial strategies and stock valuation, thanks to the mentorship of senior students. Additionally, my participation in Spear IB, an investment banking-focused course, is equipping me with the skills to excel in technical and personal interviews. As the COO of Poppy Cards, a student-run business selling greeting cards with embedded seeds, I have honed my leadership skills and learned the intricacies of running a successful venture. In addition to learning from others, I also help the Boston community through the Boys and Girls Club, where we teach high school students personal finance. As the internal vice president for this club, I arrange members to talk and coordinate with other clubs to tailor our sessions to their students’ needs. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of finance but also fueled my ambition to pursue a career in investment banking, where I can leverage my skills to make a meaningful impact. I am excited to continue my journey at Babson College, eager to explore new opportunities and contribute to the vibrant community.
