Genevieve D. Dong, Esq. is currently Associate General Counsel, Executive Director for the Corporate Risk Aligned Legal (CORAL) team for the Risk, IP, and Litigation division of the Wells Fargo Legal Department. CORAL focuses on a sustainable and comprehensive approach to building and maintaining a legal regulatory inventory as well as legal support of enterprise risk programs.Genevieve was previously a Business Execution Sr. Manager and head of Product Solutions for Wells Fargo\'s Chief Operating Office\'s Customer Contract Generation and Enablement group. Her team’s primary focus was leveraging Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and CLM legal technologies for the enterprise. Past projects involved implementation of DocuSign Insight (fka Seal Software) for Wells Fargo CLM initiatives for WF\'s Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, and Corporate and Investment Banking business partners. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Genevieve served as Counsel at Seal Software, reporting to the General Counsel, providing support on corporate matters. Most notably, Genevieve spearheaded Seal’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) initiative to prepare Seal for GDPR compliance. Genevieve further provided legal support to the HR and Finance teams at Seal. Genevieve also served as a Director on the Legal Solution Consultants Team at Seal. The Legal Solution Consultants Team engaged with legal industry partners to create best-in-class solutions to meet the complex contractual needs of Fortune organizations.Prior to her role at Seal, Genevieve served as a general counsel attorney providing corporate governance advice to community associations (HOAs and Commercial CIDs). Genevieve was also a litigation attorney with substantial experience in handling all phases of litigation, including trial (jury and bench), drafting discovery and trial motions, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, mediation and settlement negotiations. Genevieve has a broad understanding of general liability, premises liability, personal injury, residential landlord-tenant law, real estate law and transactions, and landslide/earth movement cases, auto insurance defense, general counsel to homeowners associations, and governing document rewrites (CC & Rs/Bylaws).Genevieve holds dual Bachelors degrees in Communication and Sociology (Law and Society Emphasis) from University of California, Davis. She obtained her Juris Doctor and Intellectual Property Specialization Certificate from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
