Genevieve Sigmund is the President of Platinum Storage Group, a leading real estate management, acquisition, and development firm specializing in self-storage, headquartered in Newport Beach, California. In her role, she provides strategic leadership across acquisitions, operations, development, and investor relations, helping to position the company as a premier operator in the self-storage industry. She has also been instrumental in Platinum’s strategic investment in a self-storage SaaS platform, strengthening operational performance and reinforcing the company’s commitment to a technology-driven approach.Prior to joining Platinum Storage Group, Genevieve built a strong foundation in government policy and public affairs, including contributing to a major California gubernatorial campaign. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California in 2004 with a degree in Political Science.Genevieve is deeply engaged in both industry and community leadership. She has served on various boards and in leadership positions within the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), including the Real Estate Industry Network, where she led the Women in Real Estate Network. She is also a board member of the Orange County American Heart Association, reflecting her commitment to impactful community involvement.She is especially passionate about her personal and professional journey and is committed to sharing lessons learned and mentoring the next generation of leaders.Based in Orange County, California, Genevieve enjoys reading, running, and spending time with family and friends.
