   After three decades of developing my skills in the business world, I now combine everything I\'ve learned to lead Bedrock Fiduciaries. This will be my longest role, the one I retire from decades from now, and doubtless my most fulfilling.The titles – daily money manager and California licensed professional fiduciary – are accurate but sterile. The essence of this role involves helping those who cannot help themselves. The reasons vary widely, from busy schedules to family conflicts to medical disabilities, the latter becoming all too common in the era of pandemics. My inspiration began concurrent with my resignation from Gulf States Toyota in early 2013, when a beloved aunt suffered a stroke. With no children of her own, her future was very much in doubt… and for the most part, her extended family was not in a good position to be of great help. The youngest among them, I stepped in to fill the void. Every step was a learning process, and every event made stark the realization that too many people have no willing nephew to assist. The seed of inspiration for Bedrock Fiduciaries was planted.I spent the intervening years accumulating additional technical skills, including those that allowed me to architect a bespoke software system for the company, and acquiring the additional educational background and achieving the required certifications to practice in California (and for many roles, nationwide). My mission henceforth is to apply my reputation for attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to deftly juggle disparate tasks to the more compassionate work needed by so many in today\'s world.
