OVERVIEWGene has over forty-one (41) years in the construction industry with twenty-six (26) years of experience as an Occupational Safety and Health Professional. I am currently working as a HSE Manager at Industrial Project Innovation.General Duties Included but are not limited too; Job Site Safety Management, Pro-Active consulting with contractors on potential jobsite hazards, i.e, excavation/trenching monitoring, electrical, process piping and inspections, etc, as well as some administrative managements. Gene has been instrumental in managing sustainable HSE programs, policies and processes in support of Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Programs. Administer the Company HSE Programs on Projects at the direction of corporate guidelines and the Field Project Manager. He has proven to be responsible for site-wide HSE programs and policies such as a Permit to Work Program which should be issued before starting activities like electrical, line-breaking, confined space, etc, to verify that adequate planning has been completed in order to conduct the work safely and healthfully and in concert with sound environmental practice as well as incorporating appropriate HSE standards as needed. Audits and access the HSE programs through gap analysis and site conditions at project work sites under his responsibility. On occasions overseeing incident investigations, and as well as conduct investigation of incidents that could result in litigation. Supported and conduct respiratory usage awareness training and fit testing, as well as emergency response drills with subcontractors and First Response groups on projects. Maintain liaison with representatives, project HSE personnel, as applicable. Gene has experience in conducted and developed Hazard Communication Programs as site specific. Produces and support HSE education and training programs. Advises, consults, guides and assists subcontractor and/or labor broker personnel in HSE matters.
