Designed, taped-out, and tested a BCH(255,207,6) hard decision decoder in Intel16 that achieves SoTA metrics in energy, latency, throughput, and area-efficiency Developed a custom IC design tool flow using Cadence Genus/Innovus/Abstract/Liberate that allows for seamless integration and validation of synthesized blocks and custom layouts to support group\'s successful tape-outs Built a FEC design space exploration tool that takes design constraints to automatically generate BCH/RM FEC decoder RTL and synthesize/P&R the designs in TSMC 28nm to obtain post-P&R circuit metrics at the maximum clock frequency
