Experienced both as an instrument control systems designer (twenty years) and as a SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) applications administrator (twenty years), I am an industry leader in the administration and support of SmartPlant Instrumentation.My focus has been on the following:1. Providing full support for ongoing projects including setup, training, report and deliverable development, and trouble shooting.2. Development of global standards for the administration and utilization of SPI.3. Development and maintaining of global baseline seed files and reference data support files to standardize project setup for SPI.4. Organization and leadership of a global administration and support team for SPI.5. Development of customized training and curriculum.6. Development of custom reporting methodologies that add significant value to the use of SPI for project execution. Examples would include: methods to generate more legible loops using the Enhanced Report Utility; capability to produce cover pages for SPI reports from SPI; comprehensive wiring browsers and reports for use with control system integrators.
