About Gene Bruno

With a Master’s degree in Nutrition and a second Master’s degree in Herbal Medicine—as well as being a 40 year veteran of the dietary supplement industry—I am capable of effectively providing a broad range of technical and creative services. My skills particularly shine in areas associated with the formulation of innovative, evidence-based dietary supplements. Typically, I review the scientific literature on health and nutraceuticals, develop regulatory-compliant structure/function claims, health claims and qualified health claims, and then write an extensive white paper for each product developed that provides a model Supplements Facts Box, directions for product use, any required warning statements, claims and summaries of the studies that substantiate the claims. In addition, I can write third-party literature that can function as a sales aid for the new product, and conduct live or web-based training on the product for sales representatives or retailers. I also can act as an engaging, expert spokesperson in venues that include radio, television and live events.
