Shaping International expansion strategy over a 10+ year horizon, taking into account all assets across broad early and mid-stage pipeline with multiple therapeutic areas, in the context of Vertex existing footprint and operating model. Leading a cross-functional team and partnering with a matrix of expert stakeholders to evaluate expansion opportunities within Disease Areas and for individual assets. Synthesizing global commercial strategy plans, clinical development and evidence generation needs, commercialization and organizational capability building. Developing and communicating both detailed recommendations with corresponding business cases, and big-picture strategic roadmaps to create buy-in and alignment across the organization. This is a newly established role in a brand new function within Vertex and I have collaborated with colleagues to establish the INPP \'brand\' at Vertex, setting up a broader cross-functional INPP Community and demonstrating how we will add value to the enterprise.
