Alongside our pouako and kaimahi, we\'re navigating Te Ao Māori as a Pākehā organisation, creating a culture of Tangata Tiriti.As Kaiwhakatere, I\'ve helped define the destination, set the course and brought people on board. We’re on this journey together; having strong kōrero that decolonises our thinking, embedding tikanga, karakia and waiata and passing our learning to our mahi and our clients.

I’m a kaiwhakatere, a navigator, weaving te ao Māori and te ao Pākehā into our internal Decolonising Ohu Inspire journey and learning design. I work alongside tangata whenua and clients to create experiences and opportunities for kaimahi to kōrero, grow and learn individually and as a team. There are parts that may be challenging, uncomfortable, vulnerable and rewarding. That’s learning.
