ABOUT GEMMA HANSEN
As a fourth-year college student double majoring in Communications and Political Science, I am a curious and driven person with a passion for community building and finding creative solutions to complex global issues. I have a passion for learning and I am constantly seeking new and unique perspectives. During my time at the College of Charleston, I have worked for the Cougar Activities Board planning events for a student body of My primary focus is rebuilding the community on campus following the COVID-19 pandemic through events that are engaging and allow students to make connections with one another. I believe in the power of connection and community. My experiences at the College and interning at a nonprofit have strengthened my leadership skills and practice seeing projects through from ideation to completion.
