A dynamic, people-focused Sustainability Lead with over a decade of experience in construction, engineering and consultancy across the transport, water, nuclear, and energy sectors. A proven technical expert, I tackle complex engineering challenges in multidisciplinary environments to deliver and integrate sustainable solutions pragmatically. My people-centred approach drives collaboration, motivating and engaging full project teams in achieving sustainability goals. With a proven track record for implementing impactful sustainable change initiatives, I have developed bespoke carbon tools, driven the adoption of low-carbon materials and built a new Sustainable Engineering capability supporting multiple clients and sectors. Graduated from the University of Salford in 2016 with a First Class MEng in Civil Engineering. During her time at University Gemmas research in Engineered Cardboard won the Micheal Horne Prize from the IStructE, the International Outstanding Project Award from the CIOB and Award for the highest Dissertation Grade from the University of Salford.
