ABOUT GEMMA DAVIES

Gemma is Movement to Work’s Head of Talent and Regional Development – a youth employability charity on a mission to tackle youth unemployment by supporting employers to deliver opportunities for young people aged 16–30 who are not in education, employment, or training. In this role, Gemma leads on building and managing relationships with strategic employer partners, while shaping and delivering engagement strategies and programmes in collaboration with employers, charities, and training providers – ensuring that young people remain central to every conversation. Gemma joined Movement to Work on secondment from Tesco, where she served as a People Partner in the Distribution Network. In her role, she supported the network to embed an inclusive culture by leading on DE & I initiatives, drive change and continuously evolve and improve the colleague experience through the talent and capability of their leaders. Gemma is driven by her passion to support people to recognise their own brilliance. To push themselves to grow, develop and increase their knowledge and capability whilst excelling in meaningful roles they really enjoy.
