ABOUT GEMMA CLARK

After 15 incredible years with Teaching Personnel, I’m excited to be starting a new chapter as the founder of Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy, allowing me to combine my passion for animals, supporting others, and my personal experiences with neurodiversity and mental wellbeing. Alongside this, I’m also running my own consultancy, Clark Consultancy, where I offer expertise in education, business development, including bid writing and partnerships. In my previous role at Teaching Personnel, I spent over 15 years working my way from Consultant to Branch Manager, and then Regional Operational Manager, before most recently leading the Partnerships Team for Central England and Wales. I had the privilege of developing and nurturing relationships with Multi-Academy Trusts and Local Authorities, helping to deliver tailored staffing, tuition and alternative provision solutions.I’m passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. My focus has always been on delivering high quality support to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed. Now, I’m combining my love for the outdoors and animals with my experience in supporting vulnerable groups by running Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy. This new venture is about using animals as a therapeutic tool to support mental wellbeing and provide positive experiences for people, particularly those with neurodiversity. In addition to my work with animal therapy, Clark Consultancy allows me to continue supporting education and business development projects, helping organisations build strong partnerships, implement effective strategies, and achieve their goals. If you\'re interested in learning more about Clark Consultancy, Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy, or just want to connect about making a positive impact together, feel free to reach out!
