Strategic and operational management of Asda’s neutral vend non-permanent partner, including contractual negotiations, management of spend on an annual basis and management of their performance.• Developing recruitment strategies including the impact of Brexit and seasonal planning of non-permanent workforce. • Responsible for running a redeployment programme nationally across Asda stores impacting 1500 colleagues and hiring a further into the business as we grow our online operation. • Led the implementation of the process for IR35 across all contractors ensuring as a business Asda remain compliant. • Responsible for the attraction strategy in the wake of the UK shortage of HGV drivers, designing and implementing an attraction strategy enabling Asda to recruit 300 HGV drivers in a six-week turnaround time. • Support with recruitment strategy across Retail (including Healthcare) and ALS Operations, Home Shopping, Healthcare and Central Operations from entry to senior level. • Business partner to the Shared Services teams to ensure delivery of recruitment strategies and identifying better ways of working. • Work with stakeholders to identify innovative and direct attraction solutions to fill high volumes of temporary and permanent vacancies. • Building and maintaining talent pipelines aligned to Asda business strategy. • Managing a team of recruiters supporting their development, side by side coaching and KPI commitments to service delivery.
