About Gemiliano Pili
Gemiliano Pili is an interior and creative designer, his practice extends from interior design of residential apartments and restaurants to graphic design of marketing material and presentations.Since 2008, he has worked in New York City for various design firms, event planning organizations and brands, most recently as Design Project Manager for Shake Shack and previously, as Global Head of Design for Le Pain Quotidien, a Belgian bakery and restaurant concept with over 280 stores worldwide.Born in Cagliari, in the south of Sardinia, Italy, after graduating as a surveyor with the highest final marks, he moved to Rome, where, in 2008, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Interior Design at La Sapienza University.In 2006 and 2007, he lived and studied in Valencia, Spain, attending courses at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (Polytechnic University of Valencia) while working as a designer.
