About Gary Elbaum

I\'ve enjoyed an exciting, non-traditional career beginning in Training and Development and moving into retail operations and program and project management. I\'ve been a part of some of the most iconic organizations in the Northwest and have been privileged to contribute in many ways including leading a team of top notch instructional designers at T-Mobile, managing store managers at Starbucks as a district manager, and traveling the world as an international operation program manager. My career most recently took me to REI where I led a team of training and communications professionals and created an industry groundbreaking training program that helped our employees get outside with hands on gear training. My most recent role took me into the Loyalty world where I was responsible for REI’s US Bank co-branded Mastercard relationship, supporting stores as they helped introduce members (customers) to the terrific value of our REI Mastercard. Additionally I supported the REI membership program working with peers and leaders across the organization to enhance our membership value proposition, expand our membership offerings and increase membership acquisition. I excel in program management, learning and development, communications and operations roles and have leveraged my skills in relationship building no matter what role I have explored.
