ABOUT GEIR S VAAGE

I am a business-oriented economist with specialization in finance, financial analysis, risk management and strategic relationship management. I work with large and internationally oriented companies in the Norwegian market. I have solid experience from risk management, as well as financing solutions in large and complex businesses. As a leader, I am committed, supportive and challenging for the purpose of making demands on my own team. We must deliver right and understand the task, these are the basics of my activities. Good plans, open communication, dedication and overview are central to the way I ensure progress and delivery.I have experience from reputable banks and with large and international customers at; Handelsbanken department Large Corporates as a Relationship Manager and at Capital Markets as Head of Currency, Interest and Commodities sales in Norway, SEB Trade & Capital Markets and Citigroup Global Markets in Norway and Great Britain. I am a Master MBE and have considerable experience in currency and interest rate risk, investment processes, derivatives and marketing. I have gained considerable insight and understanding of selected sectors in NorwaySpecialities: Corporate banking, capital markets, foreign exchange & interest risk management, debt & bond financing, credit analysis, accounting, communication, marketing.
