Experience
Staff Technical Program Manager, Quality Engineering Lead
Aug 2016 — Present · Austin, TX, US
As a Staff Technical Program Manager at TriNet, I lead end-to-end delivery of major modernization initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and application layers. I drive strategic planning and portfolio prioritization for large-scale programs, including OCI and RHEL-to-OEL migrations. I executed multi-release upgrades across PeopleSoft, Tomcat, Corretto, RabbitMQ, Apache, and Redis, while migrating legacy servers to OEL. These efforts, including an Intel-to-AMD processor transition and decommissioning of legacy OCVS and RHEL servers, resulted in annual operational cost savings over $500K. I also led the transition of 270+ applications to a modern CI/CD pipeline, significantly improving deployment efficiency and operational consistency. As a Quality Engineering Lead, I led the TriNet-Cloud Applications teams across the US, India, and Vietnam defining long-term QE strategy, driving portfolio-level planning for automation initiatives, and guiding the re-architecture of automation from Robot to TestNG. I implemented Playwright for shift-left testing, enabled mobile automation, and integrated the full test suite into CI/CD with strong metrics and governance. I successfully delivered the re-architecture and test automation for key platforms, defined comprehensive API and UI automation strategies, and aligned global teams to ensure consistent, high-quality releases for critical applications such as TriNet’s New Hire Platform, Client Onboarding workflow, Vertical Branding, and TriNet Admin Apps.As part of my technical leadership, I conducted code reviews for automation frameworks, API/UI test suites, and internal QE tools—ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-quality automation across distributed teams. In addition to my QE leadership responsibilities, I served as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, improving team velocity, removing blockers, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration.
