Role:System Engineer Domain: Financial Services Project: B2B payment processing • Developed and implemented a configurable Spring Batch workflow triggered using environment-based JOB_NAME to automate B2B EDI file processing. • Developed 4 major jobs with multiple steps covering file rename, structural validation, field-level validation, record sequence checks, and error logging. • Built components to read EDI files, enrich data, update SQuirrel DB tables. • Implemented verification logic to validate file transaction counts and total amount sums before sending files for further processing. • Automated secure SSPT transfer of validated files to downstream systems and managed inbound response files for reconciliation. • Developed modules to validate response file trailer/header counts and integrated with external services to update transaction statuses in the database. • Ensured strong auditability through retry handling, logging writers and multi-step validation to maintain database integrity.
