ABOUT GEERTHY BOSE

I am an aspiring Industrial Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and pursing master\'s in Industrial Engineering at Concordia University. My passion is to enhance processes, boost productivity, and achieve operational excellence, using my strong mechanical background and keen interest in supply chain, logistics, data analysis, and maintenance engineering.Currently, I am a Crew Member, Inventory Management at McDonald\'s, where I manage the inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal levels, accuracy, and quality. I also use data analysis tools, such as Clear view and Microsoft Power BI, to monitor and improve the inventory performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations. Previously, I was an Operations and Maintenance Engineer at Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation, where I optimized fuel consumption, reduced breakdowns, and improved safety standards for a fleet of buses, using root cause analysis, equipment maintenance, and quality control skills. I have also completed a Supply Chain Internship at Steel Authority of India Limited, where I learned about raw materials procurement, logistics planning, and inventory control.
