Working with tech startups as their fractional HR Specialist- Supporting clients with day-to-day HR such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations and investigations, health and safety program management, and other HR practices- Supporting recruitment for clients including preparing job outlines, reviewing resumes, conducting screening interviews, conducting reference and background checks and drafting offer letters- Handling larger-scale process improvements, and strategic projects, such as creating employee handbooks and drafting company policies- Reviewing and/or developing performance management processes in line with current best practices- Reviewing HR software and systems, spearheading HRIS implementation when necessary- Ensuring the organization meets compliance standards for their jurisdiction
