Connect or follow me! I’ve written or edited technical lab reports, technical notes, and white papers for scientists and engineers. I’ve been an author, peer reviewer, editorial board member, and communications editor for multiple scholarly journals. As chief communications officer for a neurodivergent non-profit and blog, I developed editorial standards and procedures, individually wrote or edited 60+ articles, and managed social media content on LinkedIn.With Gee Abraham Edits, my own freelance writing/editing business, I have curated articles for scientific trade magazines, contributed to O’Reilly technical design books, and researched, wrote, and edited 200+ pages of research for a nuclear power plant engineering inspector. I line edited and copy edited a book about modern lithium ion battery technology, and I was the developmental editor and copy editor for The Canary Code, a workplace DEI book by academic author Ludmila N. Praslova.I\'m a proud member of traditionally excluded communities: I\'m LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, multi-racial, and disabled. This independent analytical laboratory is accredited with A2LA Chemical Testing, AIHA Industrial Hygiene & Environmental, and DEA Controlled Substances.My role as Managing Editor for MAS involves managing the communications team and working with scientists, technical writers/editors, legal staff, and expert witnesses to support MAS technical and marketing communications- Editorial development for technical reports, scientific articles, website and social media content, and other technical and marketing communications- Create and manage style guides, templates, standard operating procedures, and other resources to create content that is clear and consistent- Coordinate with the communications team, legal staff, scientists, and expert witnesses to develop content that is appropriate and high-quality- Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of all content- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage the communications staff- Write, speak, and network as a representative of the company- Advise the President and CEO on the company’s communication and content
