Provide technical support for Infrastructure Services Directorate, Project Management Organization, Building Maintenance, and Scientific Programs, including developing engineering concepts and design solutions for Rapid Response Group. Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) of the laboratory within the area of responsibility. Responsible for supporting maintenance services for Facilities Operational Data Center, including UPS Maintenance and battery replacement. Perform services for a Shock and Arc Flash Risk Analysis, model and analyzes data, and generate arc flash labels. Participated in the electrical safety committee, supported the implementation of the Laboratory’s electrical safety program, guided the facility and programmatic group, and mentored junior engineers. Conduct Facility Condition Assessment Surveys of 360 Square Feet of building space across campus. Categorize deferred maintenance and modernization need and update the inspection database. Submit a business case to fund the infrastructure projects supporting the lab’s mission. Coordinate with other lab groups to develop projects to improve the lab’s electrical resilience and provide upgrades for various equipment across 28 infrastructure buildings. Serve as a Technical Representative, the primary point of contact with the supplier after the purchase order award for the Procurement Department. Responsible for developing the statement of work and the technical evaluation criteria. Answer technical questions for vendors regarding technical issues.
