ABOUT GORDON MCDOUGALL

43 years of experience in the Heavy Equipment field. Primarily with Caterpillar products and dealerships. I believe in; delivering value and exceptional customer experiences, executing the business plan, high performance teams, developing people through coaching and mentoring and last but not least safety excellence. Accomplishments: Since 2019, Industry Manager for CAT Building Construction Products at Finning (Canada).\"BCP\" includes backhoes, small and compact wheel loaders, skid steers, compact track loaders, mini and micro excavators. On the acquisition teams at both Ritchie Bros when Ironplanet was acquired and with Finning (Canada) for the Kramer acquisition. While with Ritchie Bros, lead the team that negotiated and delivered a global contract with Shell for surplus asset management. President/General manager of Cat Rental Store for 5 years where the company achieved record results and became one of the largest and most profitable rental services businesses within the global Caterpillar family and consistently in the top 15 in top rental companies in North America. In this time period we also reduced our TRIF to just over 1 and had consistently high employee engagement scores. Experience with all types of heavy and industrial equipment including surface and underground mining, construction, forestry, etc.
