Gina Castellano brings an extensive array of New York knowledge to her role as a Sales Manager at Compass. As a Brooklyn native, Gina has witnessed the borough’s remarkable evolution first hand, and her experience residing in multiple Brooklyn neighborhoods has inspired a uniquely broad-based understanding of the market there. For 15 years prior to entering real estate, Gina worked in the fast-paced film and television industry, which prepared her well for the brisk tempo of New York City residential brokerage. As an agent, Gina built upon this base to develop a diverse set of skills essential for successful real estate transactions, earning a solid reputation as a sophisticated and knowledgeable Brooklyn specialist at two of New York’s best-known residential firms before coming to Stribling. As a manager, she is energetic yet calm in stressful situations, sophisticated in assessing property values, savvy in navigating ever-changing neighborhoods, and generous in sharing her knowledge with Stribling’s seasoned Brooklyn brokerage team. Gina attended Hunter College and Rutgers University, and currently lives in Park Slope with her husband and twin sons. Active in her community—including her children’s schools, the local YMCA, and Prospect, Sunset and Owls Head Parks—Gina is also an avid explorer of shops and businesses in neighborhoods from Industry City to Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge to Sheepshead Bay, speaking to her abiding passion for Brooklyn life.
