Mission StatementAt MOR, our mission is to guide young men toward understanding and embodying the true essence of biblical manhood. Rooted in Genesis 1:27, where YAH (God) declares, “Let us make man…male… he created them,” we emphasize the Hebrew word Zakar—which calls men to remember, be mindful, reflect, and act with intention.Our program is dedicated to cultivating this awareness, teaching young men to be grounded in righteous leadership and unwavering purpose. In particular, MOR acknowledges the unique challenges faced by young men of color, including the disproportionate incarceration rates among African American males. We seek to address these challenges through mentorship, faith-based guidance, and leadership development—offering an alternative path that fosters moral strength, discipline, and spiritual integrity.MOR’s Vision: A Future of Purposeful Leadership and RedemptionMOR envisions a future where young men are equipped not only with a deep understanding of biblical manhood but also with the tools and resilience needed to lead lives of integrity and intention. We aim to be a guiding force for young men, shaping them into individuals who walk the path of righteousness, who lead through mindful action, and who reflect the character and values instilled by Elohim.In realizing this vision, MOR seeks to expand its mission by collaborating with court systems, serving as a liaison and advocate for at-risk youth. By partnering with juvenile justice systems, we aspire to provide these young men with guidance, mentorship, and support that can offer an alternative to incarceration. Our ultimate goal is to be a bridge of opportunity and redemption, equipping young men to rise above challenging circumstances and make positive, lasting impacts on their communities.
