In my capacity as VP of Immunomics (Antigen Discovery), I oversee the scientific and strategic direction of identifying, validating, and advancing novel antigens for use in immunotherapies and vaccines. I sit at the intersection of cutting-edge research, product development, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring our pipeline remains robust and on track toward clinical success. Specifically, my responsibilities include- Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define the research roadmap and product portfolio for antigen discovery, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and leveraging emerging breakthroughs- Scientific Oversight & Execution: Spearhead the development and validation of advanced screening platforms (genomics, proteomics, AI-driven), overseeing preclinical work to confirm target specificity and immunogenicity- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and business teams to ensure smooth transition from research into clinical trials and scalable production- Team Building & Management: Recruit and mentor multidisciplinary teams (immunology, molecular biology, bioinformatics), fostering an innovation-driven culture and holding accountability for timelines and deliverables- Corporate & Investor Engagement: Present pipeline strategies, progress, and data-driven milestones to internal leadership, board members, and potential investors; build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and technology providers.
