Hi, I\'m Gayatri, an Honors student and Dean\'s Achievement Scholar at Vanderbilt University studying English, Child Development, and Gender & Sexuality Studies. I am particularly interested in the role of literature in sociopolitical movements, especially as it informs and engages with political, community-building, and social justice theory, and the potential literature holds to propel sociopolitical movements — including Reproductive Justice, child advocacy and care, and organizing against patterns of punitiveness and sanctioned violence. I plan to pursue a doctorate degree in English, comparative literature, or a related field.
