ABOUT GAVIN SETZEN

As the CEO and President of Albany ENT & Allergy Services, PC, I oversee the largest and most comprehensive independent private practice of ear, nose, and throat specialists in the Capital Region. I am a board-certified otolaryngologist and a clinical professor of otolaryngology at Albany Medical Center, where I train and mentor the next generation of surgeons and researchers.I have more than 25 years of experience in providing comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients with disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. My special interests include allergy diagnosis and immunotherapy, rhinology, sinus and nasal surgery, and endocrine surgery. I am a past president and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and a member of several other professional societies and organizations. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the American College of Surgeons, the American Rhinologic Society, the American Head & Neck Society, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. I am a Director, American Board of Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery.I have published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and have lectured extensively in the United States and internationally as well. I am passionate about advancing the field of otolaryngology and improving the quality of life for my patients. I am committed to delivering the highest standards of clinical excellence, innovation, and education. I am also actively involved in various medical and non-medical community, state and national organizations and initiatives that promote health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, and social responsibility.
