I lead Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental strategy across Bancon Group and Leys Group, supporting construction sites, two factories producing structural timber frame kits, and wider forestry, biomass and estate businesses.Key responsibilities:•Provide Board-level assurance on compliance, risk management, and CDM (as Client, Principal Contractor, and Principal Designer).•Lead HSQE support for Bancon Homes, Bancon Construction, and Deeside Timberframe (UK-wide timber kit manufacture and site operations).•Develop and deliver training programmes, strengthening professional competence across all levels.•Drive continual improvement in health, safety, quality, and environmental performance through planning, monitoring, and supply chain collaboration.Achievements:•Successfully maintained and recertified ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and PEFC Timber Chain of Custody across multiple business streams.•Introduced enhanced planning and risk management processes, improving site performance and audit readiness.•Partnered with Boards to embed HSQE into business strategy, supporting sustainable growth and improved stakeholder confidence.I’m passionate about creating safe, sustainable and high-quality outcomes that protect people, enhance our environment, and deliver lasting value to clients and communities.
