Configuration and customisation of many new and existing ServiceNow applications in line with business demand. These initiatives have often seen highly customised legacy solutions become simplified in line with current ServiceNow functionality and best practice, although custom scripting (JavaScript) has had to take place (especially around interfacing using XML/REST/SOAP) to facilitate business success. • Design and engineer solutions leveraging all appropriate components offered by ServiceNow such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Access Control Lists, etc. Make efficient design decisions based around business processes, functional requirements, governance and ongoing cost. • Collaboration with a global ServiceNow Centre of Excellence group whose remit is to standardise process, architecture and metrics for Service Management. Input has been made to cross form governance initiatives, alongside suggestions and feedback regarding architectural and technical functionality. • Worked to champion Agile Development principles and tools amongst the ServiceNow team, providing clarity and best practice techniques that have allowed a strong foundation to be built in a short time-frame around working processes that are new to colleagues. • Operate and maintain a monthly enhancement release programme that gives focus to small changes to applications that would typically not get delivered in a formal project. Ensured that a mantra of high-value/low-cost governance was followed, working with the critical user base to ensure value is well defined. Work in collaboration alongside peers to accurately predict effort required to maximise value in a release. • Identified as a respected member of the Business Applications team amongst peers, and importantly amongst our internal customers with several Limelight awards having been received in recognition.
