About Gavin Swigart

Gavin provides enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation support, training and management consulting to companies in numerous industries, including life science, medical device, power generation, alternative fuel, and aerospace. In addition to ERP systems, Gavin has a wide range of training and education experience in areas of production planning and control, value stream mapping and sales and operations planning. Gavin’s unique ability to maintain, manage and execute several projects and their respective goals simultaneously, paired with his technical skills, is rivaled by very few in the industry. He is passionate about identifying barriers, finding better methods and engaging employees to reach higher levels of performance. Gavin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a master’s degree in Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and holds Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) and SCOR Professional (SCOR-P) designations through American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). Today, as a strong believer in giving back to the industry and keeping up with the latest innovations and trends, Gavin served as a board member for the APICS San Diego chapter, and is a certified instructor in the APICS Instructor Development Program, where he teaches CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, ORM, and Back-to- Basics courses. In addition to teaching through APICS, Gavin taught as an adjunct professor in the Mathematics and Business departments for California State University at San Marcos.

From Demo through Training and Go-Live, we built our approach from the ground-up with best-practice approaches to ensure adoption and value. Additionally, led various projects to implement ERP functionality, assisting in ERP transitions, correcting standards, assisting with Quality Management System implementation and ISO certification. Last but not least, continued to remain committed to education and learning via APICS (now ASCM) certification programs.
