About Gavin Meader
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2018 with a degree in Geography, I found myself working as a Planning Associate in a Land Planning Consultant\'s office for close to 3 years. While there, I was a very productive member of a small team providing land planning services all around the world. I mastered several software packages including SketchUp and LandMentor, a powerful new GIS that was developed in house.Following close to 3 years in my first post-grad job, I re-examined my career goals and realized that I would like to explore management as an option. I took a job as a Venue Manager at a small craft brewery, where I got to explore a completely different side of my personality and skill set than I was used to. It was a breath of fresh air.This has lead me down a path where I am now working in Project Management at the leading solar installer in Minnesota. This opportunity has lead to tremendous professional growth for me. It is a truly fast paced environment, and I am proud to say I have been consistently proving to myself and my peers that I can thrive in such a setting.
