ABOUT GAVIN LOGAN

I am a results-driven Mechanical & Piping Superintendent with over 20 years of experience delivering complex onshore, offshore, nuclear, energy and high-hazard industrial projects. Progressing from trade apprenticeship to senior construction leadership, I combine strong technical pipefitting expertise with strategic construction management capability at Superintendent and Principal Contractor level.I have led multi-discipline teams across full project lifecycles — from constructability reviews and work pack development through installation, testing, completions and handover. I have successfully delivered scopes within nuclear (QC1), energy-from-waste, renewable, refinery, MOD and FPSO environments, and have a detailed working knowledge of CDM regulations, control of work, permit systems, SIMOPS coordination and high-integrity piping systems.Currently operating as Piping/Construction Superintendent for Baker Hicks on the Dalry Clean Cow Project, I manage piping engineering interfaces, subcontractor coordination, HSE leadership, look-ahead planning and commissioning readiness while fulfilling Principal Contractor duties.I am a strong safety leader and communicator, promoting proactive risk management through RAMS reviews, POWRA sessions, tri-party walkdowns and field audits. My experience across organisations including Bilfinger, INEOS, Wood plc and Worley has enabled me to consistently drive productivity, reduce rework, maintain programme certainty and deliver systems safely to completion.Holding an NVQ Level 7 in Senior Construction Management, I bring the credibility of hands-on trade experience combined with the leadership capability required to deliver major projects safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
