About Gaurika Shergaria
As someone who paints, writes, anchors, designs, sews and debates, it was difficult to find what I love the most. But then, I participated in a National Level Sustainable Innovation Competition and won it (+loved it) and that\'s how I ended up doing this: • Started by selling some custom made artworks. • Won \"Sustainability Accelerator\" by CBSE among others. • Challenged my linguistic abilities by interning at 1M1B and making innovative solutions for villagers in S Kurubatti, Tamil Nadu. • Combined my love for art, fashion and innovation and interned at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. • Started an ed tech startup for hearing impaired people (in prototyping stage right now) → Surveyed 72+ people and 94% of them loved it. → Pitched it to many officials including those from the United Nations and IBM. • Decided to explore a bit, co-founded a fin-tech startup, made it to 0.4% of Eureka! Junior at IIT Bombay. • Became first runner up of Sparkle by IIT Guwahati. • Published my first anthology. • Working on building a fashion startup. I can help you with: • Pitch deck creation + investor/accelerator presentation (I took mine from getting grilled to being appreciated) • Anchoring & hosting youth events/conferences • Content writing: blogs, LinkedIn posts, pitch scripts, etc. • Writing & structuring competition-winning innovation pitches • Designing workshop decks, pitch presentations & anchor scripts (If we ever get on a Google Meet, don\'t ask me why I don\'t wear earphones. My ears are 4cms in length and earphones don\'t really fit in them.)

Where I excelled:• Grew a community and reached 50× members in one month.• Hosted a 7 Day Bootcamp with 100+ school and college students all over India.• Got 3 guest speakers (one being a founder who made it to Shark Tank India, ie Reyansh Juneja and other being Adarsh Kumar, the founder of Skillzo) and moderated the panel discussion.• The event refined my public speaking and researching skills A LOT as I researched the speakers and made 42 questions and interviewed both the guests simultaneously.Where I lacked:• We learnt that some people who were not our target audiences joined us too. Learnt how to clearly and specifically reach the target audience.
