About Gauri Udawant
I have been leading all things quality for cloud native distributed applications in networking, data protection, data management and digital enterprise management domains for last 12yrs. In Quality Assurance role I help build quality into the process of software development by creating a safety net of all kinds of tests: unit, integration, regression, acceptance, performance, manual and automated. Part of my role as a Quality Analyst is to help the team building software in figuring out what are the right things to take into account. I do this by asking the right questions early on. This helps to move quality even earlier in the process. Quality is not the sole responsibility of a QA. If the whole team doesn’t take quality seriously, the release of new features will always be delayed (or worse, buggy software gets released). My job as a Quality Ambassador is to inspire the whole team to care about quality.My work experience has taught me that All technology products are systems.
