As a corporate lawyer with over 14 years of experience, my legal journey has been shaped by a deep passion for law, continuous learning, and a drive to take on challenging opportunities. I completed my B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from Aligarh Muslim University and pursued my LL.M from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University. During my academic years, I developed a strong interest in corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and criminal litigation, which set the foundation for my diverse legal career. My professional journey began under the mentorship of my father, a seasoned advocate, where I was introduced to civil and criminal litigation. While I found it stimulating, my curiosity led me toward corporate law, where I’ve since worked with prominent government bodies, including the Competition Commission of India (CCI), Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). My tenure at IBBI, particularly, allowed me to contribute to the rapidly evolving landscape of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). I’ve gained hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, competition law, and power sector laws. Looking ahead, I am eager to explore further the intersections of banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), intellectual property rights (IPR), gaming, and artificial intelligence (AI). I am committed to advising startups and companies on navigating complex legal challenges while exploring the growing legal implications of these emerging sectors. My goal is to stay at the forefront of these evolving areas, continually expanding my knowledge and contributing to thought leadership in the legal landscape.
