ABOUT GAURI ASHISH
Growing up in Dubai’s multicultural environment, I developed a deep appreciation for how inclusivity, adaptability, and empathy shape strong workplaces. This early exposure to diverse teams and perspectives sparked a lasting interest in how people drive performance and how the right systems can help them thrive.I began exploring this intersection as an executive search associate in the GCC and MENA region, where I placed leadership talent across industries such as retail, healthcare, banking, FMCG, and hospitality. Working closely with senior leaders and clients taught me the importance of aligning talent with culture, strategy, and long-term business goals. Now based in Vancouver, I’m pursuing a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Adler University, with a focus on leadership development and organizational change. I’ve deepened my interest in change management through hands-on consulting projects in the automotive technology, nonprofit, and telecom sectors. Currently, I am supporting Fraser Health’s internal consulting team on initiatives aimed at strengthening change leadership, building enterprise change capacity, and improving how large-scale transformation is implemented across the healthcare system in the Fraser Salish region.Altogether, these experiences have taught me that people are at the heart of sustainable business success. With this focus at the centre, I bring a research-informed, people-first mindset to everything I do, energising me to keep building systems that empower people and organizations to grow together.
