Passionate Backend Developer | Master\'s in Computer Science Hi, I\'m Gaurav Rai, a dedicated Software Developer with a strong passion for leveraging technology to solve complex problems. At Viral Nation, I was instrumental in developing \'VN Secure,\' a brand safety and digital reputation management solution. My role involved optimizing software performance using Redis queues and integrating Kafka-based producers to efficiently stream data. I hold a Master\'s degree in Computer Science from Lakehead University in Canada. During my studies, I developed a backend project for the Student Success Center, creating a Writing Assistant Tool that helps students enhance their paraphrasing skills. This experience solidified my expertise in backend development and my commitment to building tools that make a difference. Previously, I developed native iOS and Android applications for Infusionist, aimed at helping nurses manage infusion-related tasks more efficiently. Additionally, I contributed to \'Rivi,\' an AI-based travel planner app that revolutionizes how we plan our adventures. I am always eager to explore new technological territories. I have a strong foundation in Javascript and Python-based backends using Flask/Node.js, and I am open to collaborating on projects that require these skills and more.
