ABOUT GAURAV BAJAJ

I am a strategic project delivery leader with over 17 years of international experience managing complex capital projects in oil & gas, energy infrastructure, and consulting. I have led project portfolios from FEED and EPCM to commissioning, regulatory approvals, and business integration in Canada, the Middle East, Europe, and India.Currently, I am supporting the CA$35B Trans Mountain Expansion Project as part of SIA Partner\'s energy consulting team. While I previously led the Leave to Open (LTO) process and managed federal and provincial Land & Permitting process, my current focus is on the Tolls & Tariffs component, supporting regulatory strategy, documentation, and coordination related to interim toll hearings. This experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of Canada’s regulatory landscape and the commercial transition of major infrastructure projects.Previously, I held progressive leadership roles with Bilfinger, including serving as Country Manager for Qatar, Strategic Advisor to the Group CEO in Germany, and Project Manager across the UAE. I have delivered FEED and EPCM projects, digital transformation programs, pipeline networks, terminal upgrades, and refinery modifications, leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing P & Ls up to $15M.I bring a strong combination of technical expertise and strategic leadership, with a focus on stakeholder alignment, cost control, and cross-functional execution.
