Gaurav has been working since 2016 in VLSI industry. His most of work experience is in PDK development & validation. Apart from the PDK he also worked in Power and Standard cell. He has a better understanding of design layout & the understating is getting increased by each day Following are his major expertise and experience:#PDK: • DFM: Developed, validate and support for the critical nodes • DRC: Create manual testcase for the validation and also provide support for the critical nodes • LVS: Generated manual unit testcases for validation and supported it for the multiple critical as well as legacy nodes.#Layout: Worked on different types of standard cell layouts (ANS, OR, NAND, NOT, etc.) and clean all it necessary verification flows errors.#Tools: Virtuoso, Calibre, Maxwell(Custom Designer), ICV, Voltus, IC workbench#Languages: C, Embedded C, Shell scripting, Perl, PXL, SVRF#Studies & Presentations: • Short channel effects: Study the effects and try to analyze how they can affect the characteristics of the device as we move from higher techno to lower • Studies the architectures of the IO Pads and its design rules#Story behind an Engineer:It was a dream for Gaurav to become an ENGINEER & now He is working in one of the great engineering organizations. Being an Engineer his interest is always to explore new things. Apart from engineering, he is very keen to know about SPACE and HISTORY. Gaurav\'s Journey from an intern to an experienced employee is full of a roller coaster ride. It took time for him to identify his engineering scope but now he got his field and started pursuing his career in PDK engineering. It great to see that the whole world is using electronics gadgets in whose basic structure is either validated or developed by some PDK engineers. Yeah, you got it right that\'s what PDK is. If you consider the electronics gadget as a human body then the PDK is DNA of that body.
