Over the past 15 years, I have extensively worked on the ideation, requirement analysis, architecture, design, development & successful deployment of large scale systems for handling large amounts of data (tens of millions of objects on an hourly basis), applying data engineering & ML applications at scale (Live stream of data or batch processing of TBs of data)- Successful track record of building strong engineering structure, scaling processes, practices, timely execution, technical architecture as teams evolve.With a strong technical foundation & interest; I have engaged teams on coding best practices, system architecture, design, & going under the hood of complex integrated data & event processing architectures. Extensive experience from functional design, deployment design to delivery for large scale REST API platforms to support business logicI have extensively used & worked on below open source systems & technologies for designing scalable, fault-tolerant, high availability systems.1. REDIS, RQ, RabbitMQ Kafka HA clusters for Cache, Queue clusters2. Apache SOLR & ElasticSearch clusters for search with Logstash cluster/DB-SearchStack connectors for pushing live updates & maintaining data sync.3. MongoDB cluster for NoSQL use-case4. Postgres/MySQL cluster for transactional data.5. Openstack swift object storage Cluster for providing in-house S3 REST interfaced storage space for multiple applications, including deployment pipeline.6. NGINX clusters for API-routing and authentication/reverse authentication7. NGINX cluster as an API-gateway8. Haproxy cluster for security, & routing9. KeepAlived for high availability & auto-failover from Master Nodes to Replica NodesAlso integrated AWS SES, SQS, S3, API-gateway into the architecture based on the requirement- Frameworks:# Play, Flask, Django for workers/REST APIs# Apache Storm, Faust for building a large scale event data processing pipeline- Infrastructure monitoring & alerting systems like Prometheus, Grafana- Strong understanding & experience in CICD & DevOps- Design to delivery of entire build-deployment pipeline using open source technologies likeAnsible, KVM Hypervisor, Docker, Open Nebula, Kubernetes, DEIS, etc- Build ground-up an entire communications layer, for implementing JAUS Protocol on top of TCP & UDP layer using core Linux socket library. The communication layer scaled coordination of various pieces in a robotics system to create a pub-sub model for all sensory data. Modular architecture helped efficiently build SLAM, Perception, localization systems
