About Gaurav Singh
Gaurav Singh is the I&P Lead for the Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) Chief Risk Officer teams at Wells Fargo. He also heads the CCAST (Credit Capital Allowance and Stress Testing) team at I&P. In these roles, he drives strategic direction, operational excellence, and talent development, building a diverse, highly skilled global team. Gaurav is also leading the INNOVATION initiative for all Credit Risk teams that drives efficiency improvement using GenAI and other sophisticated computation tools. Gaurav joined Wells Fargo in March 2018, bringing leadership experience from Australia and New Zealand Bank, where he led risk modeling teams for consumer and SME products. Before that, at JP Morgan Chase, he led strategy analytics for credit cards, home lending, and direct deposit accounts, developing data-driven strategies to enhance risk assessment and portfolio profitability. He began his career in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis at HSBC, leading credit card analytics to strengthen risk management and business performance. Outside of work, Gaurav enjoys long-distance running, biking, and playing badminton. Gaurav earned his MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and is currently based in Bangalore.
