Backstopped G20 Trade and Investment Working Group (TIWG) for the Indian Presidency.• Conducted background research on Presidency’s priorities on WTO reforms, fostering resilient Global Value Chains, making trade work for attainment of SDGs, integrating MSMEs into world trade and efficient logistics.• Prepared written outputs namely G20 Issue Note, Concept Papers and Ministerial Communique along with its key outcomes.• Drafted the G20 text to establish an Online One Stop Information Hub for MSMEs; adopted by the G20 as Jaipur Call for Action.• Formulated G20 High-Level Principles for digitalization of trade documents to enable transition towards paperless trade; collaborated with the OECD.• Devised G20 Framework for mapping GVCs, in partnership with UNCTAD, laying out key building blocks, elements and guiding principles for collaboration among countries.• Planned and organized four G20 TIWG Meetings entailing participation from over 300 delegates. Desk Officer : West Asia & North Africa• Monitoring the implementation of India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).• Led CEPA Sub-committee meeting to resolve outstanding issues in merchandise trade.• Leading the implementation of initiative through bilateral paperless trade arrangement between India and UAE• Led Joint Trade Committee meeting between India and Qatar and negotiated an MoU that eased restrictions imposed on Indian marine exports.• Collaborating with the GCC Secretariat to finalize Terms of Reference for initiating trade negotiations for India-GCC Free Trade Agreement.• Coordinating with SFDA, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar Drug Authorities on market access issues like fast tracking of registration, level playing field in local drug supply contracts, and reference pricing, for Indian pharmaceutical companies and generics.Framing India\'s policy stance on WTO Investment Facilitation for Development AgreementHandling matters related to trade and development in WTO
